The Training Ship Golden Bear in Zihuatanejo Bay
The Golden Bear, a California Maritime Academy training ship, has been in the bay since yesterday and according to their itinerary they'll be here 2 more days. I don't recall ever seeing her here before, and this may be her first visit to Zihuatanejo.
Her crew and students have been seen carousing about the town obviously making the most of their shore time in our port. This is a rather fascinating ship, though she is certainly a visual contrast with her rakish hull lines and boxlike superstructures.
