The man who put Petacalco on the surf world map and painted so many beautiful scenes of the Guerrero Coast passed away on January 29 in Aliso Viejo, CA. Pat, who was one of the greatest surfers ever to come out of Laguna Beach, spent much of the 70's exploring and surfing Guerrero and several of the other Western states of Mexico, many of the places often for the first time.
